Program Overview
A curriculum tailored for the world beyond the classroom
Catalyst is a 17-credit curricular program housed in the College of Arts & Sciences and open to any UVA undergraduates beyond their first year. In addition to core courses, students will fulfill electives in global cultural competence, quantitative reasoning and data, and job-specific skills.
The program concludes with a capstone course in which you'll learn to effectively showcase your skills and experience. Working with partners across Grounds, Catalyst offers numerous opportunities for mentorship, internships, and professionalization to students in the program. Students will receive a certificate of completion.
